8/21/23 – This is an ultra-rare 1935 dated Luger holster. Also known as a “G Date” Luger holster, this is the hardest to find WW2 era production Luger holster. We speculate this is due to an excess of holsters made in 1934, but whatever the reason there are very few 1935 production Luger holsters in existence. This example is in very good overall condition with some surface wrinkling and light cracking throughout the front leather and closure strap. There’s also some scuffs near the toe of the holster, and the front lid has some initials scratched into the leather as well. The back leather and interior leather is fairly clean however, with no major issues and normal use wear. The stitching is in great condition, except for the bottom of each belt loop, where the stitching is replaced. The horizontal line of stitching underneath the belt loops also has some loose stitches, but this is mild and doesn’t affect functionality. Priced based on condition, and overall a very scarce holster from WW2.
