6/29/21 – This is a rare rig for a GNR-marked (Guarda Nacional Republicana) 1935/06 Mauser Banner luger, made under contract for the Portuguese in 1935. This rig includes a cleaning rod, one proper un-numbered magazine, and a nice Portuguese-style holster. These lugers were largely unheard of in the collector market for a long time, as only 564 were produced! This one is all matching and has retained about 92% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Spotty wear on the left side of the barrel and back strap. Small handling marks here and there. Minor patina and spotty oxidation on the straps. Comes with excellent un-numbered grips. The bore is shiny with good rifling with minor freckling in the grooves.
