1/29/24 – This is a rare Navy-issued Colt Model 1911 from 1913. It is in the proper serial number range for this variation, has a correct “H P” Colt barrel, and has a proper 1913-pattern Navy slide. Unfortunately, the slide has been refinished – the frame has its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of light scratchy wear and brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The majority of the bore is very nice, but there is a small area of light surface oxidation around the muzzle end.
