10/23/17 – 1913 was a slow year for military luger production with only about 20,000 made. Today they are very hard to find, especially in a condition like this one. Most likely used thru the entire war, this gun is all matching including the magazine! This early variation has NO hold open and no lug stock, which is correct and is what makes this variation so unique and rare. Original finish is about 90-92%, as it is in excellent condition aside from the front strap, which shows browning and thinning. Halos on the serial under the barrel. Excellent bore. Unmarked grips.
