5/10/23 – This is an excellent example of a Quality Hardware M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. It was reworked – an adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added, likely for re-issued during the Korean War. Inland barrel dated January of 1944. The stock is marked IO. Comes with a canvas sling, oiler, one magazine, and an original bill of sale from the Red River Army Depot in Texas. The gun itself has retained about 93-94% of its finish. There is general high-edge wear and areas of wear on the receiver and on the top of the barrel, in front of the bayo lug. Mint bore.
