11/21/24 – This is a minty example of a Pre-Pearl Harbor Winchester M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates it to about October of 1941. Correct Winchester-marked parts with a Winchester barrel. Replaced wood stock and hand guard. Fitted with a modern canvas sling. It comes with a few spare parts (ported gas plug, op rod spring, clip latch spring), a cleaning kit, and a bunch of Enbloc clips. The metal parts show virtually no signs of finish loss, and the wood furniture is mint. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation in the grooves. Throat reading: 1.
