2/27/23 – This is a minty example of a Mauser P.38 that was put together from parts after WW2 and issued to the French security services. They were then imported to the US by Interarms. This one comes with an original matching Interarms box and owners manual. The gun is all matching, has Waffen proofs on the barrel and right side of the slide, and a French star on the right side of the slide. No import mark. It has retained more than 98% of its finish. There is a very light scratch on the left side of the slide, a small ding on the right side of the slide, and some small dings on the right side of the frame. Comes with post-war French grips and a WW2-era waffen-proofed magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with just a hint of pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
