3/30/22 – This is an original example of the super rare and highly desirable Polish Eagle Radom VIS Model 35 from 1936. There were only 5,500 of these Radom’s produced in 1936, and this is one of the first ~600 ever made. It has the characteristic Polish eagle on the slide and “D2” proof on the trigger guard. Later, unmarked magazine. The frame and barrel are matching, but the slide is numbered ‘0618’. Given how rare and early both the slide and frame are, with ‘0’ as first digit, this is likely a factory error or these parts have been together since 1936/37 as they are only 9 digits off. The finish is original throughout but shows wear in all areas, most pronounced on the front strap. Nearly all of the bluing has worn off there, and a previous owner hand-engraved their initials into the frame. Bore has good rifling but some frost and freckling throughout. Original grips with minor handling wear but no cracks or chips.
