7/22/21 – This is an excellent Mauser Model 1914 that was issued to the Duisburg-Hamborn Police following the Treaty of Versailles. It has about 95% of the blue remaining with wear on the high edges and minor spots of bluing loss on the front strap and trigger. Shiny bore with good rifling. The magazine is police-numbered on the base but it’s mismatched to this pistol. Front strap is marked S.D.IV.1.7.R.29, and the grip has N-314 stamped into it but unsure the significance of this marking.
