9/10/24 – This is an original WW2 production pebble grain leather P.38 holster. The holster is in overall good condition. The interior leather is fairly clean but there are a few light scuff marks. The backside of the holster has a “bml” maker code and 44 date stamp along with a waffen eagle military proof stamp and the “P.38”. These stamps are very hard to see due to the pebble grain leather. The straps on the back of the holster do show wear that is consistent with the holster being worn, additionally, the toe and flap also have spots of wear. The closer strap on this holster is present, however, the strap leather is torn. There is a minor tear in the flap of the holster as well as the stitching along the flap. The leather on the holster remains pliable and maintains the majority of it’s original finish.
