12/22/22 – This is an original Panzer NCO Visor Cap from WW2. The cap is in excellent condition, especially externally with clean gray-green wool and pink piping. There are no stains or issues with the cloth, except for one small moth hole we found on the underside of the piping, towards the back of the cap (behind the right ear area). The dark green cap band is excellent and all the cloth colors are distinct. The front emblems have some mild patina but are securely fastened and are excellent overall. The leather chin strap has some mild wrinkling. The Vulkanfiber visor is pristine with minimal surface wear. The interior leather headband / sweatband is cracked in the front in a few places with some surface deterioration as well. The remainder of the headband is in great shape with some mild surface wrinkling. There’s no visible maker markings on the interior of the sweatband. The interior yellow silk is excellent, as is the celluloid material.
