3/24/23 – This is an original WW2 era production USN Mk1 Fighting / Utility knife. The blade is maker stamped as well as USN designation stamped on the ricasso, as shown. The blade edge has been sharpened and there’s dark surface patina throughout the blade, but no rust or pitting. The early style black, white, and red colored spacers are in good condition, as is the handle, but there’s some light aging wear throughout. Comes with an excellent original scabbard.
