9/17/20 – This is a very nice example of an original Ortgies Pistol manufactured in the 1920’s. Germany export mark on the underside of the frame. It has retained around 93% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear and wear on the high edges of the slide. There are a few spotty areas on wear and small scratches along the peak of the right side of the slide and at the rear of the slide, around the tang. There is also minor freckling on the high edge of the same area. There is wear at the base of both straps and minor dings on the front strap throughout. Also small dings on the underside of the trigger guard. Minor freckling on the back strap. It has excellent original grips and comes with a reproduction magazine. The bore is very nice – strong rifling. The gun is fully functional.
