12/1/23 – This is an all correct and original Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was issued to the US military in early 1944. A list of drawing numbers is included in the photos for this listing. Proper March of 1944 dated barrel. Stock is marked ‘SA / GAW’ on left face with crossed cannons cartouche and circle P on the wrist. The original parkerized finish shows high edge wear and some finish loss on the gas tube but very nice overall. Minty bore. The stock shows handling wear and dings but no cracks. Comes with a canvas sling.
