12/17/19 – This is a minty, unissued condition P.38 holster made at the end of WW2. The holster is the scarce one-piece variation, meaning the holster doesn’t have the two extra lines of stitching that attach the “lid” to the “body” of leather. There are far fewer one-piece variation softshell holsters than those that are two-piece. Well stamped on the back leather, and appears to never have held a pistol before (or if it did, not for long).
