3/19/21 – This is an original WW2 NSKK dagger. The dagger has a fair amount of wear throughout the blade, as shown. This is mostly surface oxidation, and none of it has texture, meaning it isn’t deep into the blade. The wood handle is excellent with no cracks or chips. The scabbard has some more significant wear on one side, with small areas of surface pitting. There’s patina and discoloration throughout the finish.
