12/15/22 – This is an original NSKK Dagger from WW2 made by Kaufmann & Sohne. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and leather hanger. The dagger blade is in great condition displaying excellent cross-graining throughout. There’s some mild scabbard rub wear and typical mild surface scratching on both sides of the blade. There’s also some rainbow coloring that reflects off the blade (shown in photos) from old oil someone must have used to clean the blade at one point. The dagger has a crisp maker marking and is gruppe stamped on the cross guard “Nrh”. The solid nickel fittings are in great condition with some mild surface patina but no excessive wear. The wood handle is free from cracks, flaking, or chips. The scabbard has excellent original black paint with some very mild spots of paint loss. The hanger is RZM stamped on the leather and the metal clip has dark surface patina but still functions without issue.
