8/29/23 – This is an excellent condition WW2 No7 Mk1/L bayonet. The blade features a high polish finish with minor speckling of patina with very faint signs of re-sharpening. The ricasso is stamped No7 Mk4/L. The composite grips are free from splits or cracks, only showing light handling marks. Depressing the slider on the top of the grip allows the socket to rotate 180 degrees, allowing the bayonet to be held in the hand or mounted to a rifle. The scabbard has no dents, cracks, or dings and is very clean. These were mostly made in 1944 with around 176,000 produced.
