4/21/23 – This is a very nice Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in January of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” military proofs throughout. This one has been completely nickel-plated – likely done by the GI who brought it home. It has retained nearly all of its nickel-plating with a few tiny scuffs and scratches here and there. Some of the small parts are still blued. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a nice reproduction magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is light freckling and pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
