3/16/22 – This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. The gun is all matching, has the proper Imperial military proofs on the right side of the slide, and has the proper Erfurt proofs throughout. Some time after the war, the gun was entirely nickel-plated. The gun has retained virtually all of its nickeled finish, but there are micro-scratches in the finish throughout and some small areas where it looks like minor pin-pricking was nickeled-over. Comes with nice wood grips. The right panel is mismatched, but the left panel is numbered and matching. There is a hairline crack and one chip at the bottom of the right panel. The gun also comes with a period-correct magazine. The numbering is worn away and there is a noticeable chip in the wood bottom. Excellent bore with strong rifling. This gun would make an excellent shooter.
