01/08/2024 – Up for sale is a German K43 made by Walther Factory at the end of WW2. The metal on the rifle is in great condition with no pitting or rust. The stock is in great condition with the only blemish being a crack developing in the toe of the stock. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt carrier, firing pin, and locking flaps. The stock and forend are unnumbered which is correct for a late war K43 and is stamped WaA359 for Walther. The bore is very bright and gets frosted towards the muzzle. The rifle also has a shooters kit installed. The rear sight ladder is missing its leaf spring so it does not stay in place. The front sight has a reproduction hood and looks to be an incorrect replacement. The scope rail finish does not match the rest of the rifle and looks to be a replacement. The rifle comes with a repainted 10-round magazine marked “gcb”, a leather sling, a manual for the ZF4 scope, a spare firing pin, and a firing pin extension.
