04/09/2024 – For sale is a Springfield Model 1871 Rolling Block chambered in .50-70. Around 20,000 Model 1871 Rolling blocks were manufactured for the state of New York. The rifle is in great condition overall and the receiver has a nice case-hardened finish. The rest of the rifle is free of rust or corrosion. The wood furniture is also in good condition and there are no cracks or breaks. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling and mirror bright.
