06/21/2024 – For sale is an El Tigre rifle made by Garate, Anitua y Cia and from the city of Eibar and is a copy of the Winchester Model 1892. This rifle is chambered in .44-40 but the barrel is marked .44 L for .44 Largo. The rifle is in good condition overall with a nice bluing still remaining on the parts. The receiver has spots of finish loss as well as the lever. The stock and forestock are in great condition. The left side of the receiver is stamped with a Tiger. The bore is bright and there is carbon residue on the rifling at the muzzle.
