10/2/24 – For sale is a Portuguese Contract K98k made by Mauser in 1941. The rifle was redirected from being sent to Portugal and was issued to the German Army. The metal retains a nice bluing with spots of wear and minor spotting of oxidation. The stock is clean with minor pressure marks visible but no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright but there is a ring of pitting about 2 inches from the muzzle. The bayonet is clean and the finish is worn. The rifle is mismatched on the trigger guard, magazine floor, and stock. The bayonet matches the receiver. Import marked under the barrel in front of the bayonet lug.
