7/15/20 – This is an original Nazi Wehrmacht Wooden Ammo Crate. It is dated 1939. Original and rare as most were used for firewood. It has 3 paper labels in tact. It held 1,500 8mm Mauser cartridges. It is in exceptionally nice condition – just minor handling marks. The metal clasps still work. The lead-plated inner liner is still in tact but is missing the top left corner. This would make an incredible conversation piece. The dimensions are 20x15x7″.
