1/19/21 – This is an original and all matching numbered K98 from WW2. Later wartime Steyr factory production, stamped “bnz 4” on the receiver. Comes with a cleaning rod and leather sling. The rifle features browning patina throughout the metal, but this is all honest wear and not excessive. We rate at about 70% overall condition but there is a decent amount of finish loss on all metal parts. The stock is stamped with a Heer army eagle proof stamp on the right side, and is not externally serialized. A few normal dings and imperfections, but no major cracks or chips in the stock. The bore is very nice and clean with an overall rating of 9/10.
