11/21/20 – This is a nice military issued softshell P.38 holster- dated 1943. The leather is soft and pliable, and the stitching is mostly intact. The maker is JOA. Closure strap is good. Detracting ink markings inside the flap. The belt loops on the back are tan in color, but this was a fairly common practice near the end of the war when materials were scarce. Waffen stamped on the back.
