7/13/22 – This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 37” military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. While there isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, there are small dots of discoloration, oxidation, and pin-pricking covering the whole slide. Brown patina on the grip straps. Comes with very nice black bakelite grips and one proper magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with noticeable oxidation throughout.
