10/13/20 – This is a Mauser P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It comes with a very nice, 1943-dated, waffenamt holster and two period-correct magazines. It has retained somewhere between 80-85% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard. There is also minor muzzle wear, wear on the high edges of the slide, and one small spot of wear on the right side of the slide. Excellent original grips. The bore is shiny and has very strong rifling – there are just areas of freckling. The de-cocker works, but the slide does not stay back with either magazine. It works if you manually engage the slide stop.
