5/26/21 – This is a French MAB Model D issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is matching and has the proper waffen proofs. There is also a “Politi Nr 5593” marking on the left side of the slide, indicating this gun was diverted to the Norwegian police. There is a matching police number on the left side of the frame. The gun has retained about 90% of its plumb-colored finish. There is minor wear on the front strap and high edges in general. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there is significant pitting throughout. The grips are nice but slightly warped in the top corners. Comes with a correct magazine that is also pitted. Minty bore.
