12/13/21 – This is a very nice example of an FN Browning Hi Power issued to the Nazi military during WW2. This is the later variation with a fixed rear sight and no slot in the back of the frame. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 140” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. There is minor wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Spotty wear and thinning on both grip straps. There is a streak of wear that runs along the top of the slide. An area of minor spotty wear under the front edge of the frame. A few very light scratches around the takedown lever. Comes with nice wood grips (minor bruising here and there) and an un-marked period-correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
