5/16/24 – This is an excellent example of a National Postal Meter M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. A complete list of parts and markings is included in the photos. The parts are correct, but the bolt is parkerized when it should be blued. Clear “NPM” and cross canon cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. There is almost no finish loss on the metal parts. Excellent wood stock. The bore has good rifling, but there is tiny pitting throughout. Comes with one magazine and a sling.
