01/08/2024 – Up for sale is a nice condition Type 99 Arsiaka made at the Nagoya Arsenal. The rifle is mismatched but still has the Imperial Mum stamped on the receiver along with the serial number and a stamp noting it is a 5th series rifle. The rifle was made during WW2 and some features were starting to be removed around this series of rifles. The rifle is missing its dustcover but other wise is complete. There were no monopods installed during this production of the rifle. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, and bayonet lug. The firing pin has no serial numbers stamped on it and the safety is mismatched. The bore is bright but becomes dull towards the muzzle with debris inside. The rifle comes with a Type 30 bayonet made by Kokura Arsenal.
