11/19/21 – This is an excellent example of a Russian Nagant Model 1895 revolver manufactured in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper Russian proofs throughout. There is an import mark and an added serial number on the right side of the frame. It comes as a rig with a proper holster (looks like it might be dated 1930), cleaning rod, and 12 cartridges (not dated). The entire gun has been arsenal-refurbished. It has retained about 97% of its bluing. There are small areas of splotchy discoloration here and there, most noticeable on both sides of the frame and on the cylinder. There is what looks like black paint on the right side of frame that is starting to chip away. Comes with minty wood grips. The bore is excellent with strong rifling.
