7/10/19 – This is an all original WW2 era MP 40 parts kit. The numbered parts are all matching and original, except for the firing pin (but these were commonly replaced during WW2). The receiver has been cut but all pieces shown are included. The biggest issue with this kit is that someone tried to weld the barrel shut, and then it appears someone else tried to punch through that weld. The result is a small hole so we can see down the barrel, but not big enough to let a round pass through. The parts are in very nice condition with normal aging and patina throughout the metal. The bore has strong rifling but there’s patina and some minor residue. All parts shown are included.
