7/5/23 – This is a class 3 fully automatic MP.38 machine gun. This example is known as a “tube gun” with original WW2 parts, meaning the parts are all original WW2 production, but the receiver is a modern production made by Texas Arms Co. The receiver “tube” is form 4 fully transferrable and in excellent overall condition. The tube is made to production specifications that matches those made by the Germans during WW2, and features a fluted design just like the original MP.38 examples. The dust blued finish shows some machine marks and light surface thinning to the finish. The tube is attached to all original WW2 production parts, but most of these parts have been refinished post-factory. The parts are a mixture of “ayf” Erma production and “122” code Haenel production parts. The old re-blue has some mild surface wear and finish loss but no major issues. There’s some pitting on the trigger but this is mild and doesn’t affect functionality. The action is smooth and the bore is excellent; clean and shiny with strong rifling. The folding stock is functional without issue as well. The magazine well / housing is a scarce MP.38 style with a circular hole in the center. Comes with 2 total 30 round magazines and a leather WW2 production sling.
