8/12/24 – This is a WW2 FN M1922 holster that was modified post-factory with added shoulder straps, an added closure strap (on the interior leather), and a removed magazine pouch. Despite these modifications, the holster is still in great overall condition with visible factory-original markings. There’s a visible waffen WaA279, and slightly visible maker and date stamp, “dtv 4” by C.O. Gehrckens. The pebble grain leather has normal pliability and light use wear. The shoulder straps and added closure strap appear to be period correct, but we can’t be sure. The added straps show light age and wrinkling but are in great condition. All added stitching doesn’t fluoresce, so again this could be period correct, but we’re not sure. Price reduced accordingly.
