5/26/22 – This is an original Argentine M1898 Cavalry saber sword. The sword comes with an original matching numbered scabbard. The hand guard, blade, and scabbard are all matching numbered 3018. The blade is in great overall condition with no signs of sharpening and a few small spots of oxidation but no major issues. One side of the blade is maker stamped by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. The other side is stamped with the Argentine logo and serial number underneath. Leather stopper in tact. The hand guard has some surface rust throughout the surface and the finish is almost completely gone. The handle has no cracks or chips. There is some spotty surface rust on the scabbard but no dents or major issues.
