4/23/21 – This is a minty example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US Military in 1944. It is all correct and has the proper military cartouche on the tang. It has correct excellent grips and a correct Colt barrel. It comes with a period-correct magazine. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, high edges of the slide, and one small spot on the front strap. A few spots of very minor oxidation around the muzzle. One small scratch from the takedown lever. Very nice bore.
