4/25/17 – This is a minty WW2 all original configuration Winchester Carbine. The Serial is in the 5,556,xxx range. W marked barrel. The stock is a mid-war “low wood” stock with a clear cartoche and WRA and GHD inspector proof on the right side. Serial dates the rifle to either early 1944 or late 1943, but I would guess ’44 given the sling is dated to 1944. Stock is excellent – not sanded or refinished. Comes with an original sling and original WW2 magazine marked OI B. Sling appears to be marked 3 M and 44. S marked rear site and EW marked safety button. Excellent bore.
