3/15/23 – This is a near-mint example of a Swedish Husqvarna M40 Rig. The Husqvarna m40 was manufactured 1940 to 1946 and was a Swedish copy of the Finnish Lahti pistol. The first m40s were delivered to the Swedish military by 1942. The grips of the m40 have the Husqvarna “crown H”. The m/40 would eventually be taken out of service in the 1980s. This one is all matching and has a crown proof on the takedown lever. It lacks the military “Crown HV” on the tang. it comes as a rig with a mint “MW” marked holster, cleaning rod, loading tool, and three proper magazines. The gun has retained virtually all of its finish with just a few small spots of wear on the grip straps. Comes with excellent “Crown H” grips. The bore is mint.
