5/20/22 – This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver issued to the US Navy in 1942-44. The gun is all matching and has the proper “US Navy” marking on the top strap. This one comes as a rig with a mint and scarce “USN” Navy marked leather shoulder holster (dated 1943) and ten rounds of tracer .38 Special ammo (not dated). The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish. There is just very minor wear on the high edges in general, a few small spots of minor discoloration on the cylinder, a very light roll mark on the cylinder, and one tiny spot of oxidation on the right side of the frame. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Comes with excellent period-correct grips – the right panel is numbered but not matching. Lanyard ring is intact. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth.
