8/9/23 – This is a minty Smith and Wesson Victory revolver from World War II. All matching, with the proper “US Property GHD” marking on the top strap, this example was manufactured in 1943. These were typically used as standard issued side arms for US Navy and Marine air crews due to their size and ease of operation. The revolver has retained nearly all of its original parkerized finish, with some minor wear in a couple areas along the barrel, and a few small surface scuffs here and there on the cylinder and frame. Feint turn line on the cylinder. Beautiful case-hardening on the trigger and hammer, and the bore is mint. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Comes with a flawless set of original matching Walnut grips, serialized on the right panel.
