5/19/22 – This is a near-mint Smith & Wesson Victory Model rig from World War II. It is U.S. Property marked and G.H.D (Guy H. Drewry) inspector marked. The original finish is about 98-99% with a little bit of muzzle wear and a thin roll mark on cylinder. Minty bore. Made from 1942 to 1944, with a production run of ~500,000. They were standard issued side arms for US Navy and Marine air crews due to their size and ease of operation. It is .38 S&W. Super smooth action. Comes with a complete set of accessories that includes a holster, belt, first aid kit, canteen and a Robeson USN knife. The first aid kit pouch is maker marked and 1942 dated. Knife is marked U.S.N. on one side and ‘Robeson Shuridge Nc.20’ on the other. Canteen pouch is also 1942 dated.
