8/22/23 – This is a minty Smith and Wesson Model 15-2, manufactured in 1966, chambered in .38 Special, and featuring a 4″ barrel. It is retained about 98% of its original finish, with most of the wear concentrated along the ejector rod, at the bottom of the trigger guard, and in a couple of the grooves at the front left of the frame. There is also some minor muzzle wear, a feint turn line on the cylinder, and some light freckling on the right side of the frame. Beautiful case-hardening on the trigger and hammer. Minty bore. Comes with an excellent set of original wood grips, with right panel correctly numbered to this gun. No chips or cracks, and sharp checkering aside from being slightly shaved in a small area on the left panel. Also comes with a S&W box, though it’s not the original or serialized to the gun.
