3/1/24 – This is a near-mint Remington Rand 1911A1 from 1945. This example has the correct HS barrel and type 3 slide, as well as the proper FJA inspectors mark and P proofs on slide and frame. Crossed Canon military cartouche is present, but faint. The gun has retained nearly all of its original parkerized finish with just hints of muzzle wear and a couple of spots of minor discoloration on the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one proper magazine. Like-new bore.
