6/7/22 – This is a minty example of a Remington Model 1903 rifle issued to the US military in about August of 1942. The barrel is Remington marked and dated July of 1942. There are “RA” and “OG” arsenal markings on the stock, indicating that this gun was later reworked at the Ogden and Raritan Arsenals. There is also an “FJA” marking, which is the military approval stamp for Remington. Overall, the gun is in minty condition. There are very few signs of use except for some very mild discoloration on the receiver. The stock is minty and was likely replaced. Comes with a front sight hood and green canvas sling. Mint bore. Cleaning kit in the butt of the stock.
