2/15/22 – This is a beautiful Remington 03-A3 rifle from 1943. It’s arsenal refurbished at San Antonio Arsenal as indicated by the stock marking. Mint parkerized finish throughout, and also has a minty bore so this would be a nice shooting and a great display piece. Just one minor patch of pitting in the bore but shouldn’t impact accuracy. Barrel is dated to February of 1943. Square ‘P’ marking on wrist confirms an arsenal repair or re-work. Some age and handling wear to the stock but no cracks.
