11/28/22 – This is a minty example of a rare .22 Caliber Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1935. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with two period-correct “7 hole” magazines (one has a black finger extension) and a very nice police-style tan leather holster. The holster is not police marked, but it is maker marked and dated 1942 on the inside. There is a name “Bergmann” written the inside, we assume the German who originally owned this gun. The gun itself has retained about 98% of its original high polish finish. There is just some very minor muzzle wear and some very light scratchy wear on the back strap. A few tiny scratches and handling marks on the front strap and right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. Mint bore.
