2/25/21 – This is a minty example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1943. It is all matching and has both “Eagle 135” military proofs and a police “Eagle L” proof. The gun is minty, retaining about 98% of its bluing. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and the front edges of the slide. While there isn’t much finish loss, there is spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the front strap and top of the gun. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
